A Beautiful Oyster Dish Turned into a Very Glamorous Work of Art!

Each dish is hand-selected and exclusive prints and patterns are used with a delicate process of applique to paint them onto the face of each shell.  The oyster shell is polished to a very nice shine and meticulously hand-painted. Small feet are attached to the bottom of the shell for stability. With a touch of gold and a protective gloss, these are the most vibrant and colorful dishes!! Use as a teabag holder, a jewelry dish on your nightstand for your rings, soap dish, or as a salt & pepper cellar! So many uses.

A well-known local Charleston artist has teamed up with SCDNR’s oyster restoration and enhancement program to help with the local oyster supply. For every oyster shell sold, 10 are restored to the waters, which would otherwise be going to the landfill. These make a perfect and unique gift!

Oyster Shell sizes can vary. Shells are sold without jewelry or other items used for photography.
